The Bellaire Civic Center is available for public rental. 

South Rice Meeting Room w/Kitchen:

The meeting room is carpeted and an ideal choice for a small business-oriented occasion.  It is connected to the kitchen via a service bar. Capacity 50 people.

Trolley Auditorium w/Kitchen:

The auditorium is a spacious area which is often used for seminars and wedding receptions.  It features a temporary stage for bands, disk jockeys or lecturers.  Capacity 350 people.

Whole Complex:

The meeting rooms and auditorium can be combined into a single, large reception area with kitchen access. Capacity 500 people.

$200 security deposit

General Rental Guidelines

Deposit:

A deposit must be made in advance and a contract signed before a facility can be reserved. Total fee must be paid in full by cash, check, money order, or credit card (Visa or MasterCard) two business days before rental.

Alcohol:

Serving alcohol during a rental requires:
-Alcoholic Beverage Permit Application
-TABC permit
-special event insurance
-approved security for the event

Reservations:

Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance for residents and 3 months in advance for non-residents.  City offices are not available for lease.

Non-Profit:

Rental rates are discounted for non-profit groups in Bellaire.  Groups must have a 501C3 status and have a 2/3’s majority of Bellaire Residents.  Please contact Bellaire Parks and Recreation for more information.

Tables & Chairs:

30-6 ft tables, 150 chairs, and a microphone are included in the price of the rental for the Civic Center.  All other tables and chairs must be rented through an outside vendor. (Not the City of Bellaire)
