The Fitness Room is located on the Southeast corner of the Recreation Center (next to the locker rooms). Participants must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid Recreation Center Identification Card and Fitness Room Membership to use this facility.  In addition, admittance to the Fitness Room requires a one time, FREE, 20-minute orientation class scheduled at 12:30 or 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday or Thursday.  To make an appointment call 713-662-8280.

The Gymnasium is located in the Recreation Center and is adjacent to the front office.  Participants must be 8 years of age or older and have a valid Recreation Center Identification Card.  Participants can play basketball in the gymnasium with a Gym Supervisor present during Open Gym hours.

MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES

A new membership structure has been established for usage of the different amenities that the Bellaire Recreation Center has to offer.

All users of the Recreation Center must have a valid Recreation ID card to utilize the facility. You must have a Recreation ID Card to participate in the following activities:

Youth Room
Open Gym

Fitness Room - requires additional membership

All users of the Bellaire Recreation Center are required to purchase a Recreation ID Card.

If you forget your card, you are subject to pay a Daily Admission fee to use the Fitness Room, Youth Room and Open Gym.

You must show proof of Bellaire Residency to purchase a Resident ID card.  Please bring a valid driver’s license and a current utility bill with you at time of purchase.

You must show proof of employment in Bellaire to purchase a Corporate ID card.  Please bring a current employee ID or pay stub and current employer address with you at time of purchase.

VISITOR POLICY

A guest is considered a Visitor to the Bellaire/Houston area and must pay the Visitor Pass Fee to use the Recreation Center. A current member must accompany a guest.
