Details:  On 08/26/2016 between the hours of 1400 and 1500, a resident observed a male at the front door of their residence.  The homeowner has a doorbell camera that sensed motion and alerted the homeowner.  The male was standing at the front door, but did not ring the doorbell or knock.  The male then moved away from the front door and stayed in the vicinity of the house for a few minutes.

The homeowner then recorded the male as he walked around the area with what appears to be a ball in his hand, with no apparent destination.

The male is described as a black male, heavy build, wearing orange shorts and an orange shirt with white letters.  The male also has a knee brace on his left leg.

The Bellaire Police Department would like to remind the residents of Bellaire that while no known crime was committed during this call, homeowners should always pay attention to their houses and surroundings.  While there are exceptions, solicitors must have a permit to solicit in the City of Bellaire.
